Bitcoinhouse is an online search-and-discovery service similar to Yelp that helps people find businesses that accept Bitcoin in their city.

We provide crowd-sourced reviews and personalized recommendations for Bitcoin businesses to explore near a user’s current location.

Bitcoinhouse was started by Daniel Cowx — an early Canadian Bitcoin adopter and Principal Engineer from Vancouver, BC.

Mr. Cowx is a Simon Fraser University alumnus who graduated with a First Class Honours Degree from the faculty of Computer Science in 2002 with a Major in Software Engineering and sub-focus on Computer Network Protocols.

Mr. Cowx is a hard-core privacy, encryption, and security advocate.

Since completing SFU, Dan has coded for Sony Corporation in Tokyo, Japan, he has designed digital slot machines and cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generators for Las Vegas casinos while at Rocket Gaming Systems, he has managed a large team of Canadian and Chinese engineers spread across two continents while at Kodak, and in 2014, together with Kevin Sandhu, he co-founded Canada’s first online money-lending marketplace Grow. Over the next three years, Kevin and Daniel built Grow into a leading banking-technology company, serving consumers through partnerships with top global financial institutions.

Today, Grow is a leading white-labelled banking software provider — providing enterprise-grade banking software to numerous Canadian banks and credit unions.

More recently, Mr. Cowx has started EnterpriseFintech.com — Enterprise Fintech is a Canadian engineering firm specializing in enterprise-grade deep cold storage solutions for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin. Daniel is an Ironman finisher, avid boxer, and expert in Bitcoin and Blockchain.

When not working, Daniel enjoys designing multi-signature cold storage solutions for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, Monero, etc.
